The Lodge is at the entry gate to the oldest desert in the world; the Lodge offers travellers luxurious accommodation and exciting activities is a unique natural setting. Sossusvlei Lodge with its eco-friendly design and shaded by camel thorn trees, this Namibia lodge blends in beautifully with its magnificent desert surroundings.
The 45 individual accommodation units provide private terraces from where scenic views can be admired. The air-conditioned, spacious bedroom under canvas with African character offers guests with the feeling of being close to nature. Complete with twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basis, the rooms also provide a welcoming seating area. The lodge offers three family rooms which offer inter-leading doors between the bathroom.
A swim in the lodge's outdoor pool or a cold beverage best enjoyed under the shady trees in the Acacia beer garden offers pure relaxation. The floodlit waterhole, where passing wildlife such as springbok, oryx, jackal, ground squirrel as well as hyena can be observed, can be seen from the al fresco terrace.
The scrumptious buffet breakfasts with a great selection of breakfast treat, delicious a la carte meals from the lunch menu as well as delicious buffet dinners make dining in this remote yet exceptional location of Namibia a unique experience.
At the lodge's Adventure Centre, guests have the choice to participate in exciting activities which include hot air ballooning, quad biking, guided Sossusvlei trips, nature drives, sundowner trips, bush dinners, sunset walks, archery, stargazing as well as great scenic flights.
